A Look Inside
Plan
Take close up pictures from different angles of a flute and unique pictures of sunsets.
Unedited
I took these pictures trying to get different views and perspectives of the flute and tried to show how a flute can look much different when you look at it from a different angle. In my opinion, there are multiple different sides to everything, so I made an attempt to find different views of a flute and of the sky. I took at least 6 different perspectives when taking pictures of my flute.
Edited
I edited these photos in lightroom and mostly just turned the contrast up and either turned the vibrance up or down. I wanted to show the different colors that the metal brought out in different lights. I also edited the sunset pictures in lightroom because in my opinion, sunsets are best edited in lightroom because you can bring out the true colors.
Final
I took two pictures, one from the perspective of looking through a flute, one of a sunset, and then I combined the two pictures. The unique colors of the sunsets pop out at you and the mysterious colors of the flute cause you to wonder what exactly you are looking at. If I didn't take these pictures, I know that I would question what was in the picture. The picture of the sunset has a dark blue color at the top, then fades into purple, then pink and finally orange. The flute looks very silver and metallic and when I combine the two pictures, it creates a sense of wonder and mystery. In my opinion, music can be very mysterious because there are so many possible combinations of music that it is impossible to understand or hear them all. I think these pictures are successful, but if I made the sky look more surrealistic, then it would create more mystery within the pictures.
